An art lesson today... I was looking for contemporary artists on the internet for a school project, when I stumbled on these amazing pictures. They show an artwork called the Obliteration Room, designed by Yayoi Kusama. She created an Australian living room painted completely white. Children were allowed to put coloured stickers in the room wherever they wanted. And so... The room was obliterated!

But I have to go to bed now. Because I should save a lot of energy for carnaval tomorrow. Anyhow, I had to share this clip which gave me a lot of inspiration. Oké, en nu ga ik over op Nederlands, want ik ben te lui om het woord 'muts' op te zoeken.In een loom moment vanmiddag hing ik op de bank en keek MTV. En dan MTV in de letterlijke betekenis van het woord: Music TeleVision! Toen zag ik de clip van bagagedrager. En die clip is heel vet. Maar niemand kent de clip! In ieder geval vandaag heb ik drie mensen verteld over de clip, ze konden alledrie het liedje meehummen, maar ze hadden de clip nog nooit gezien. En dat is erg! Want de clip zit dus vol mutsen. En toen deed ik ook mijn muts op en voelde ik me super lauw. En nu ga ik slapen.

Zino Rosmolen and Floris Kruger did all the producing and editing and all the animation credits go to Wilbert van Veldhuizen, he worked his butt off to get it ready in time for the regional competition. Today I had to do some research-homework.I didn't.
What I díd was.... Taking a random bad-quality picture of the internet. And re-colouring it with my Bamboo Tablet and Photoshop, without the use of the erasertool. It was random, not finished (as you can see in the last picture, without the original underneath) but I love to doodle and colour widly, with reckless ambition.

We had seen them once at a festival called Lowlands but this time we got to see them up close in our own town. About a year ago some stupid asshole stole my bike and I'm still not over it. Ofcourse I have a new bike now, but it isn't that good as my old bike. My old bike was just perfect. And this bike, well, isn't that perfect. (I'm spoiled I know sssht.)

Rachel is my name, I'm 18 years old but in the heart I'll always be seventeen. I've blogged in the past, but this is a fresh new start with my lovely friends.
